Talented optometrist Allison Wooten, O.D., is the owner and one of our outstanding optometry care providers at Excel Vision in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dr. Wooten offers comprehensive eye care and has extensive advanced training in glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, dry eye treatment, diabetic retinopathy, and other complex eye conditions.
Dr. Wooten earned her degree at Arizona College of Optometry in Glendale, Arizona. She grew up in the Cave Creek area, and she’s excited to now have her practice in the same area as her loved ones.
Dr. Wooten’s skills in the optometric filed have been recognized by several important organizations. She was awarded the Allegan Excellence in Optometry award and became an active member of the Golden Key Optometric Honors Society, both in 2017. Dr. Wooten has earned a reputation as a caring, intelligent, and highly capable optometry care provider, making her very popular with patients. She believes in personalized care, and it shows in how she treats her patients.

Dr. Hillier began as an Optometric Technician and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Northern Arizona University. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Midwestern University’s Arizona College of Optometry. She completed internship training heavily focused in Medical Optometry as well as Specialty Contact Lenses and Primary Care.
Dr. Hillier received the Clinical Excellence Award in Primary Eye Care, and is a member of both the American Optometric Association and the Arizona Optometric Association. She is Board Certified in the state of Arizona to medically diagnose and treat eye diseases.
Dr. Hillier is well-known for her genuine, warm demeanor as well as her extensive knowledge of eye care with the ability to make it relevant and understood by her patients.

Dr. Gail Bass is a Board Certified Optometrist and has been practicing optometry for over 20 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri, Columbia and a Doctorate of Optometry, O.D., from the University of Missouri, St Louis, where she graduated with honors. Dr. Bass is a member of the American Optometry Association and Beta Sigma Honorary Optometric Society. Dr. Bass also volunteers her time and provides vision screenings at Local Schools in Scottsdale.
